Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer! The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days in the San Francisco Bay Area September 5 - 7. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.

As many of you know, this is my second 3 Day, 60 mile walk for Breast Cancer. As a Stage 3 Survivor, I was compelled to give thanks for my life by walking with my daughter and her friends in 2002, 4 months after chemo treatments. I wasn't certain I could walk all 60 miles, but I made it ... with the encouragement and inspiration of my walking buddies!! As a group of 5 we raised over $11,000! Our team goal this year is to increase that number by 40%. This is really ambitious, but I am hoping to succeed for such a worthy cause. If you would like to join our team, please let me know.

A larger team = More donations = Saving more lives!

So, join us if you can. In addition, we plan to wear pink ribbons on our back in memory of those who are survivors or who have lost their battle with breast cancer. Please let me know the names you would like remembered ....
